Allison Green is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate providing virtual and in-office therapy to adult clients across North Carolina. She believes that engaging in psychotherapy is an act of courage — an invitation to deepen self-awareness and transform the way one relates to themselves and others. Allison works with clients who are navigating anxiety and depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and challenges with attachment and emotional regulation. She helps clients pause, reflect, and explore the patterns that shape their relationships, choices, and sense of well-being.

Allison is deeply interested in how life’s experiences — pain, loss, transitions, and moments of joy — shape who we become. She supports individuals coping with grief, trauma, abuse, neglect, and post-traumatic stress, while also guiding those seeking personal growth, mindfulness, and greater balance in their lives.

Allison integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Polyvagal-informed principles.

Through her warm and compassionate presence, Allison helps clients learn how to heal from the past, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater peace, confidence, and purpose.
