Stafford & Associates Counseling is a therapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed mental health care to individuals, couples, families, and children and teens. Our clinicians cover a wide range of specialties and support clients navigating anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, neurodivergence, relational stress, and more.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking pre-licensed or licensed therapists who are compassionate, motivated, and committed to high-quality clinical work. We welcome clinicians from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of clinical interests.
You may be a great fit if you:
Hold an active provisional or full North Carolina license (LCSWA, LCSW, LCMHCA, LCMHC, LMFTA, LMFT, PsyD, PhD or equivalent) in good standing
Provide high-quality, patient-informed care
Value professional growth and clinical excellence
Work well independently and collaboratively
Want to build a stable and meaningful caseload
Are comfortable working as an independent contractor in a group practice setting

Monthly Clinical Consultation
Whether you're in private practice, a group setting, or working independently, our monthly clinical consultation groups provide ongoing peer support, case consultation, and opportunities to refine your clinical work alongside experienced clinicians.

Evening Couples Therapist
Specialty Practice • In-Person & Telehealth
We're seeking a licensed therapist interested in specializing in couples therapy to provide evening appointments. Our clinicians work with couples navigating high-conflict dynamics, attachment injuries, betrayal trauma, and long-standing relational patterns.
- Schedule: Evening availability (typically 4pm–8pm), flexible scheduling
- Qualifications: Master's degree, active or associate NC license (LCSW/LCSW-A, LCMHC/LCMHC-A, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Compensation: Competitive split-based compensation with strong referral flow
