Although each therapist here practices independently, we all work together at Stafford & Associates under a similar clinical framework. Dr. Nanci Stafford — LCSW, LISW-CP, EdD, and the practice's founder — provides ongoing clinical direction and case consultation to the therapists on this page. The depth-oriented way she works isn't confined to her own caseload; it shapes how the practice approaches care more broadly.
A shared clinical model
Attachment theory and trauma-informed care ground how every clinician here understands a case. Schema therapy runs through the practice too, though clinicians draw on it to different degrees — the same underlying lens Dr. Stafford brings to her own work.
Regular case consultation
Most of our clinicians consult with Dr. Stafford regularly on active cases — formulation, schema modes, unmet needs, and treatment planning. You get the benefit of her clinical judgment even when she is not the person in the room with you.
